Job Description As a General/Special Education Teacher at The Menta Group, you will have the opportunity to educate a small classroom of students in a self-contained setting. Our social-emotional learning environments combine engaging, inquiry-based academics with a P.B.I.S. structure. Responsibilities

Teach all subjects in a classroom setting Provide a differentiated learning environment Collaborate with staff, including curriculum and clinical teams, to achieve positive outcomes for students Gain support from on-campus staff, including teachers, administrators, curriculum, clinical staff, and support personnel Personalize learning experiences for students Maintain a social-emotional learning environment Manage a classroom of around 10 students with paraprofessional support Qualifications

Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Public Educator ID with Cross-Categorical/Special Education Certification or equivalent teacher certification (non-substitute) Flexibility to teach multiple grade levels as student populations change Ability to teach across all basic instructional areas Experience working with youth with emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties Flexibility, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively Benefits
