Dual study programme 2026: Computer Science - Information Technology (B.Sc.) 3-year dual study programme in Computer Science - Information Technology starting on 01.09.2026 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Cooperative State University.

What you can expect

Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including Research & Development

Field of activity in the design and implementation of customized software solutions in a hardware-related environment

Activities include the application of industry protocols, design and implementation of sensor-based applications, conceptualisation of software architectures, hardware-related programming, application of modern test procedures

The tools used include database systems, programming languages such as C++ and Python and the use of embedded systems

Course content includes programming, mathematics, physics, theoretical computer science, computer engineering, data structures and algorithms as well as scientific work

What you need

A-levels, specialised university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passed Delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training

Strong interest in hardware-related programming and IoT

Initial programming experience is an advantage

Good performance in technical subjects such as computer science, maths, physics and English

Understanding of scientific and technical topics

Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in the technologies in our company

Analytical and precise way of working

Ability to work in a team and willingness to take on responsibility

Good command of English

Good knowledge of German (language level C1)

1st year of study: 1.359,00 €

2nd year of study: 1.452,00 €

3rd year of study: 1.604,00 €
