Minimum Qualifications: Hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, or in a related field from an accredited college or university Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with Science DX, Integrated Science DI, or Physical Science DP endorsement or meet Michigan teaching permit requirements through enrollment in a teacher certification program leading to a Michigan teaching certificate with DX, DI, and/or DP endorsement(s) Job Description:

Provide science instruction for students in ninth through twelfth grade Maintain a structured environment that supports classroom management where students feel safe and engaged, promoting focus and collaboration Administer group-standardized tests in accordance with the district and/or school testing program Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports in order to advance student achievement Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction, develop lesson plans and instructional materials, provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students Establish open communications with students, parents, staff, and the community Participate in district and school professional development programs, as required Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning Any other duties assigned by the Principal, and/or designee
