Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
Solo Miles Pay: $0.56 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
Solo Stops Pay: $15.00 per Stop with 40 Stops per Week
Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 2 - 4 nights per Week
Paid Training
Schedule: Monday - Friday, No Weekends
Start Time: 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM Dispatch
Route and Equipment
Deliver SOLO To: WV, KY, NC, VA, SC, GA, FL and TN
Route: Regional
Tractor Type: Sleeper, Day Cab, and Straight Truck 26'
Trailer Type: Dry Van 53'
Freight: Touch – Screen doors and hardware
Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide. Benefits

Paid Personal Time Off Starts at Day 1 - 80 hours accrued in First Year
DO NOT LOSE Paid Personal Time Policy - We encourage you to use Vacation Time earned. If you decide not to use it - we pay you the remaining balance at your hourly pay rate.

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and Alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
9 months experience within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the last 5 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Important Note:
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
