Overview
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Rock Hill, SC, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries to lead our middle school, high school, and college-aged student ministry. We are looking for a man with a pastor’s heart who will disciple students, equip leaders, and foster a culture of Christ-centered worship, discipleship and service. Key Responsibilities
Teach/disciple youth through weekly gatherings, Bible studies, and fellowship opportunities Shepherd students through personal discipleship, relationship-building, and counseling Coordinate/equip volunteers, student leaders, and interns for youth ministry Plan/oversee youth retreats, mission trips, and service projects that nurture faith and outreach Partner with the Pastors, Session, Christian Education Committee, and families in the spiritual care and development of youth Participate in the life and ministry of the wider church, fostering healthy youth engagement and intergenerational relations Qualifications
Passion for working with and teaching youth Ability to teach Scripture with pastoral care and theological clarity, according to the Westminster Standards Strong relational and leadership gifts with a heart for service Ability to communicate effectively (large group, small group, one-on-one, written) Since the Director of Youth Ministries’ position involves Scriptural teaching of young men and women, only male applicants will be considered (1 Tim 2:12) College degree with some biblical training required; seminary or graduate theological training preferred Relevant youth ministry experience required Why Ebenezer?
