Field Services Lead Technician A Britescape Field Services Lead Technician provides year-round, full-time support across two core divisions of Britescape. From March to October, this position serves as a Lawn Care Technician with BriteTurf, our turf management division, maintaining residential lawn care.

From mid-October through the holiday season, the Technician transitions to Holiday Lighting Technician, assisting in the installation, maintenance, and takedown of high-end seasonal lighting displays.

This position offers consistent pay and benefits throughout the year and reports to: Lawn Care: Garden Services Manager (March–October)

Holiday Lighting: Business Manager (October–January).

The Technician is expected to demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication while upholding Britescape’s standards of safety, quality, and client service in all aspects of assignments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lawn Care Technician | March – October

Mow and edge lawns using electric mowers and trimmer

Trim and maintain lawn perimeters, remove weeds, sweep pavement

Install seasonal plantings and prune shrubs/trees per contract

Perform general landscape tasks as needed

Collaborate with Garden Services Manager and Lead Gardeners to ensure quality standards

Manage daily schedule using Aspire to track time, materials, and notes

Record hours daily in Aspire

Communicate directly with clients to report progress, delays, or changes

Troubleshoot problems and perform light equipment transport or purchasing

Follow safety protocols and lift/move up to 75 lbs

Holiday Lighting Technician | Mid-October – January

Assist Lead Holiday Lighting Technician with preparation and daily installations

Install lights safely on rooftops, trees, and structures using ladders (up to 40’)

Confirm displays are working before leaving properties

Maintain truck/tool organization and prep vehicles for daily departure

Follow directions of Holiday Lighting Lead and report any issues promptly

Use Aspire daily to log hours; report absences/tardiness in HCMtoGO

Participate in takedown and safe storage of lighting displays

Provide friendly and informed customer service during each visit

Attend weekly team meetings and complete required safety/skills training

Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure job site quality and cleanliness

Requirements

Valid & insurable driver’s license

High school diploma or GED

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Able to lift and carry 75 lbs

Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops

Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time, Year-Round Employment (40 hours/week average)

Hourly Rate: $27 - $30

Consistent Pay Across Both Roles

Holiday Lighting overtime available (seasonal)
