What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security‑related matters.
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols.
Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond to alarms or calls for assistance in accordance with established procedures.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
