Base pay range
$165,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr JCW is currently partnered with a global investment manager with a rapidly growing Private Equity platform to hire a key addition to their finance team. The Fund Controller role will take ownership of accounting, reporting, and operations oversight for a complex set of private credit funds that sit across the capital structure. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the firm's Manhattan office. What You’ll Do: Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple private credit vehicles Manage and optimize fund-level leverage facilities (subscription lines, NAV lines, ABLs) Review fund waterfalls, IRRs, and management fee calculations Prepare draw requests, borrowing base and covenant reports, and fund liquidity projections Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and lenders Support audits, tax filings, and investor reporting What We’re Looking For: 8–10 years of accounting or finance experience within private credit, fund accounting, or alternatives Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required Strong grasp of fund operations, credit structures, and financial reporting Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently Skilled communicator with experience managing multiple external stakeholders Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at JCW Group by 2x
