Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Analyst to join our team, providing vital financial support for a range of impactful programs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the effective management of funds through diligent monitoring, reporting, and data analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency and supporting decision-making processes. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring program funds and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Use intermediate Excel skills to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.
Advise managers on financial implications of policy changes, workload shifts, and program requirements.
Communicate regularly with government customers to ensure seamless financial operations.
Apply guidelines and regulations from DoD, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and other entities to advise on financial issues.
Use initiative to interpret policies and guidelines for unique situations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Requirements
ERP Skills
Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills
Basic understanding and familiarity with DoD Spend Plans, NWAs, DTS, ODC breakouts, ZFD PR requests and SOW forms for outgoing funding documents.
Minimum Education, Experience, Skills, & Certifications
Bachelor’s preferred or 5 years direct experience in Business and Financial Operations Occupation Field.
Ability to obtain / maintain a government clearance at Secret level
