Client is a rapidly growing and expanding full-service development to property and asset management, leasing, and advisory services company. The Property Accountant oversees financial reporting for assigned properties, focusing on account analysis, journal entries, and bank reconciliations using a modified accrual basis. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial packages and complete month-end close. Reconcile general ledger accounts and post journal entries, record accruals. Collaborate with Property Managers on budget variance analysis. Monitor daily cash positions and reconcile bank/mortgage statements. Review and approve tenant billings, chargebacks, and ACH payments, ensure timely payment of mortgages, taxes, insurance, and ground leases. Support quarterly distributions in coordination with Asset Managers and accurate operation expense reconciliations. Assist in annual budget preparation and reforecasting. Experience: 3-5 years of full cycle property accounting experience Experience with commercial properties is a MUST (HIGHLY PREFER healthcare/medical offices) Technological system knowledge with Yardi and Kardin, highly preferred Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting (REQUIRED) Seniority level
