Base pay range: $62,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Job location: Although the posting notes Chicago headquarters as the main location, Crowe has offices throughout the U.S. and location preference will be considered during the recruiting process.

Job Description As an audit professional, you will design and execute audit procedures based on the client’s business and risks. You will gain exposure to diverse industries and business models, analyze client data with advanced analytics and technology, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality audit services.
You will work with audit tools and technologies to analyze client data, support client service delivery, and uphold Crowe’s values of care, trust, courage, and stewardship.
Responsibilities
Audit, review, and compilation of financial statements
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and application of GAAP
Advise clients with routine accounting functions
Maintain relationships with key client personnel
Consult with management of large organizations
Participate in special reviews related to mergers, acquisitions, and the sale of businesses
Audit benefit plans such as pension plans, ESOPs, or 401(k) plans
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's in Accounting and/or Business Administration or a similar degree; Masters in Accounting
Strong academic credentials
Proficient with Excel
Experience with data analytics is strongly desired
Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs)
CPA Eligibility: must be scheduled to meet educational requirements to obtain a CPA license; must fulfill education-related criteria before starting full-time in the assigned Crowe location
Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
Willingness to travel
Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed
