Now, we’re ready to scale by hiring an Account Executive to help us grow through proactive outreach and dealer acquisition. Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Account Executive to cold call truck and equipment dealerships across the country. This individual will be the first point of contact for prospective dealer partners and will be responsible not only for initial outreach, but also for owning and nurturing those accounts long-term. Once a new dealer is contacted and expresses interest, the Account Executive will take full ownership of the relationship—onboarding the dealer, ensuring their success, and building a strong, ongoing partnership that drives inbound credit application volume. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume outreach, values long-term relationship building, and is energized by owning their own book of business in a fast-paced, B2B finance environment. Key Responsibilities Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to truck and equipment dealerships to introduce Fleet Financial and generate interest in our dealer finance program. Identify and engage key decision-makers, such as dealership owners, general managers, and sales managers. Own the accounts you initiate—transition from outreach to full account management and relationship ownership. Foster and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with dealers you bring on board, becoming their main point of contact and advocate. Drive credit application volume by promoting Fleet Financial’s financing solutions through your network of dealers. Proactively seek new dealer relationships and assist in expanding origination channels across the transportation and equipment industries. Track outreach activity, account status, and application volume using CRM and internal systems. Maintain regular communication with onboarded dealers to ensure their early success and continued engagement. Represent Fleet Financial at 4–5 trade shows or industry conventions per year, promoting our services and generating new dealer leads. Collaborate closely with leadership to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and onboarding processes. Qualifications Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or B2B lead generation. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills — able to quickly build trust with business owners and managers. High level of motivation, persistence, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Comfortable making a high volume of calls and navigating rejection professionally. Organized and self-disciplined — able to manage a personal outreach pipeline and follow up consistently. Experience with CRM systems preferred (but not required).
