MEPPI's Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a proactive
Inside Sales Coordinator
to lead all aspects of service sales—including identifying leads, quoting service opportunities, following up, closing, and processing service agreements and warranty sales. This role requires a consultative mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and a keen eye for business opportunities to ensure CPSD’s service offerings deliver measurable value and exceptional customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do:
Drive Service Sales Success: Identify, develop, and close business opportunities by selling service contracts, extended warranties, spare parts, and labor projects that enhance customer value. Be a Trusted Partner: Build and maintain consultative relationships with customers and MEPPI partners—offering guidance, support, and actionable insights. Master the Details: Maintain accurate sales opportunity, contract, pricing, and service order data in MEPPI’s CRM and business systems. Quote Like a Pro: Prepare and present engaging quotes to customers, including preparing and submitting RFP documentation. Maximize Renewals & Upsell: Proactively follow up and close renewal contracts prior to expiration, and upsell customers to higher service levels; identify customer budget cycles and close/revenue recognition dates. Cost Coordination: Work with vendors to obtain cost estimates for services and equipment to ensure competitive and profitable pricing. Invoice with Precision: Ensure timely, accurate invoicing of service contracts and extended warranties, supporting smooth business operations. Improve Margins: Drive increased service margins through higher Average Selling Prices, direct sales, and by promoting MEPPI quality. Promote a Positive Image: Represent CPSD’s goals and brand professionally through effective collaboration with customers and internal teams. What You Bring:
Education:
Associate’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
3+ years of success in inside sales, telephone sales, customer service, collections, or a related field. Demonstrated ability in selling services within an industrial or technical environment.
Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of service selling strategies and tactics. Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build positive relationships and effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player who thrives on achieving shared goals.
Tech Savviness:
Advanced computer proficiency with emphasis on MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP and CRM systems.
