Position: School Psychologist
Location: Cedar Park, TX
Duration: NSY | Contract
As a vital contributor to the educational landscape, the role of a School Psychologist involves applying expertise in psychology to foster student well-being and academic success within K-12 settings. This position is essential for creating supportive learning environments that accommodate diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to inform educational decision-making. Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student requirements. Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to create and adjust personalized education plans. Provide counseling and support to students facing academic or emotional challenges. Engage in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies as needed. Stay abreast of developments in educational psychology and relevant legislation.
Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in psychology with a focus on school psychology. Valid state certification or licensure in school psychology. Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
