Overview
Lourie Center - Riverdale, Adventist HealthCare, is hiring a Head Start Bilingual Home Visitor. We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Home Visitor who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Responsibilities
Assist with selecting, developing and preparing appropriate instructional material for the parents Conduct parent interviews and family needs assessments Conduct developmental screening and assessments Provide program parents with guidance on home safety, nutrition, effective discipline, constructive play activities, and other related topics Assist with coordinating doctor, dental visits and other community needs identified by the families, including transporting Maintain individual records on children including screenings, assessments, referrals, progress reports, documentation of home visitation activities, etc Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, social work or related discipline preferred Driver’s license with reliable transportation Must have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree 1+ years experience working with young children and families in the home preferred Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Additional Information
