Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Composite Material Cutting Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing material cutting operations to support production. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in pre-preg cutting, ply orientation and material handling, but not required. Additionally, proficiency in inventory tracking, understanding of cutting/ nesting software, and strong organization are necessary for this role. Responsibilities
Pull raw materials from freezer containers Track material cure by dates and out-life time Ensure manufacturing work instructions are completed Ability to cut, sort, and kit material efficiently Standard use of computers for job nesting, part ID printing, and operation of material cutting machines Able to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions Required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Work Shift is Monday - Friday 7:00am-5:30pm Reliable, punctual and has dependable transportation Ability to follow safe work practices Strong attention to detail and precision Good organization skills Effectively work as part of a team Strong commitment to quality standards and procedures 2+ years of experience in relevant industry or process Able to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs Able to become certified to wear a respirator Maintain work area in a neat, orderly, and organized manner Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials Desired
2+ years of CNC or material cutting machine operating experience Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $22-$30/hour. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Joby also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan with a company match, an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and more.
