Women's Ice Hockey Camp Counselor

University of New Hampshire As a hockey camp counselor, you will teach a wide range of hockey abilities to campers of all ages, from beginners to pros. You will be responsible for coaching campers on their skating, passing, shooting, and, most importantly, teamwork. Counselors will work directly with the UNH Coaching staff and the campers to ensure a fun and exciting day camp experience. Duties/Responsibilities Working with campers during on-ice drills and games (50%) Leading off-ice activities and ensuring that each camper is accounted for during each event (50%) Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience Current UNH Women’s Ice Hockey Coaches Preferred Qualifications Is a current, former, or future UNH Women’s Hockey player (not required but encouraged) The University of New Hampshire is committed to providing a safe environment for all persons, including but not limited to children, and to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect and crimes against children. All UNH youth program staff shall be subject to a criminal background check as required by NH State Law. Staff and volunteers will also be required to complete periodic child safety training.
