Job Description Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent and promote the sale and use of McWane Ductile Pipe products to customers, prospective customers, municipal, and consulting engineer specifiers in the sales territory of MO, KS, NE, SD & IA.
Maintain positive relations with distributors and assist in selling products.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Live within your territory, ideally near Kansas City, MO, with a home-based office and travel requirements.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report.
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop and expand customer base, promote products, identify market trends, generate reports, monitor competitors, deliver presentations, support credit collections, interpret site drawings, handle complaints, demonstrate product applications, represent at trade shows, manage opportunities using Sales Force, and travel as needed.
Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a positive attitude and team collaboration.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or 2+ years of relevant experience; or 10+ years in utility, water, wastewater, or construction industries.
Proven sales ability, relationship-building skills, communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to manage time effectively.
