Action Oriented Customer Focus Composure Time Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external guests. Creates a welcoming atmosphere by greeting donors and safely unloading donations from vehicles. Accurately records donations. Independently lifts up to a maximum of 50 pounds. Safely operates manual and/or power equipment (location dependent). Keeps donation area clean and free of debris. Completes donor receipts and offers a copy. Sorts donated items into designated categories. Follows prescribed safety and security practices, reporting hazards or injuries to the General Manager, Store Manager, or Assistant Manager. Maintains a clean, neat uniform and appearance. Other Duties and Responsibilities
Assists truck and driver helper with loading/unloading donations into company vehicles. Performs general housekeeping duties as needed. Performs other duties as directed. Required Qualifications
Previous customer service experience. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English for safety purposes and communication with management. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with associates and customers. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling and climbing for prolonged periods (up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Preferred Qualifications
At least six months of previous work experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a team environment. Previous warehouse experience. Previous pallet packing and forklift experience. Basic computer skills. Multilingual with proficiency in English. Seniority level
