The Correctional Officer is responsible for the security, care, and direct supervision of inmates/residents in housing units, during meals, recreation, work assignments, and all other activities within a correctional facility. This role may require the use of weapons or force to maintain discipline and order. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
Work any shift, with assignments to various posts including but not limited to armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.

You may be a fit for this role if you :
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Are willing to undergo paid training; where applicable, obtain a non-commissioned security officer license (we cover the cost).
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Can complete any required training.
Are available to work any hours or shifts.
Are at least 18 years old.
