Job Purpose
To join a team with a mission: Relentless Commitment to Student Greatness in School and in Life. The Reading Coach will provide training and support to teachers and assist with Reading program implementation. The role includes staff development, classroom visitations, data collection and reporting, and program monitoring.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities Develops and conducts in-service training for Reading teachers regarding the program, instructional strategies, and best practices. Conducts classroom visitations, assists teachers in improving instructional performance, and monitors progress. Demonstrates lessons in classroom situations for observation by teachers. Coordinates the testing of students. Coordinates Reading schedules with existing instructional programs. Monitors the progress of students. Serves as a resource to school administrators and content area teachers in identifying reading needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing Reading program. Assists with the development of school literacy teams. Collects and reports student data. Maintains liaisons with district and professional associations to stay current on Reading and instructional best practices.

Ability to interact with staff and relate to individuals at all levels; sensitivity to corporate needs and public image. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize wisely. Ability to guide and train teachers in effective instructional techniques and strategies. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, the community, and administrative staff. Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, written, listening, negotiating and influencing). Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities. Ability to drive projects to completion with a high level of quality. Consistently reliable in attendance and following instructions; open to feedback for improvement. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Student Information System (SIS). Knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures. Knowledge of Federal, State, and local requirements for K-12 schools and charter school law.
Job Requirements
Master's degree and eligibility for Florida teaching certification. Evidence of leadership responsibilities in school activities. Reading Specialist Certification. Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills. Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SIS. Commitment to company values. Alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate. May perform other duties as assigned.

The following physical demands may be required: travel within or outside of the state; light work with occasional exertion up to 20 pounds; ability to move objects as needed.
