Responsibilities: Conduct VDA 6.3 partial-scope audits (P5–P7) of Aptiv’s suppliers P5: Supplier Management P6: Production Process Analysis P7: Customer Support & Service Focus only on in-production suppliers using standard components Certifications Required: Must have: VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification (issued by VDA-QMC) Nice to have: IATF 16949 Certification (as backup only) Experience: 3–5 years of experience in supplier audits within the automotive industry Solid understanding and use of VDA 6.3 methodology Preferred: Experience conducting partial-scope (P5–P7) audits Industry Background: Automotive manufacturing Experience auditing Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers preferred Job Type: 1099 Contractor Project Duration: Multiple audits across various U.S. locations. Each audit averages 1.5 man-days (1 day on-site, 0.5 day for reporting). Note: This is a 1099 contract role—project timelines vary based on client needs. Shift Hours: Typically standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time). Note: As a 1099 contractor, schedules may change depending on the assigned project. Location: Must be able to travel to Duncan, South Carolina. Future audits may be assigned in other SC areas.
