RP Kentucky is currently seeking a General Radiologist, working as an Independent Contractor, who is proficient in all areas of diagnostic radiology. Key highlights of this opportunity include: General radiology and open to any subspecialty Remote, hybrid, and on-site options in Owensboro, KY Daytime and evening shifts available Weekend moonlighting opportunities to earn additional income Compensation: Generous shift rate with an engagement bonus (182 shifts to qualify for bonus) LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RP Kentucky serves the medical needs of twelve counties in Western Kentucky. Owensboro Health Regional Hospital has 477 beds and a Level 3 NICU unit, and the Radiology department offers all radiologic services including general imaging, digital mammography, and high-end IR services. (Information available at Owensboro Health website.) Owensboro is the industrial, medical, retail, and cultural hub of western Kentucky. The city is located on the southern banks of the Ohio River, with a downtown and riverfront community. Owensboro is the second-largest city in the Tri-State region of Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky after Evansville, and is within convenient reach of Nashville, Louisville, and nearby states.
