Varies Work Schedule:
Varies Education & Experience: Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte considers competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including degrees, related work experiences, professional licensure, honors, awards, and documented teaching excellence. Duties and Responsibilities: Developing and updating course syllabi Preparing lectures, projects, or student assignments Meeting all designated class periods Maintaining office hours Grading student assignments and exams promptly Submitting mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations The positions are temporary, usually involve teaching specific courses for a semester, and do not accrue benefits.
