Lead 2’s Teacher
to join our Hudson Yards team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners. Responsibilities Lead the 2’s classroom with creativity, structure, and warmth. Implement The Learning Experience®
L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
aligned with age-appropriate milestones. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding classroom activities and child progress. Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom excellence. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and center policies. Qualifications BA or AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) ,
CDA certification , or
a minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience
with a
high school diploma . Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience working with toddlers or preschoolers preferred. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
