HDR is looking for a Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our South Carolina Water Business Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Providing project engineering and task management, conducting hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
Conducting stormwater collection systems modeling and design, and presenting data in reports and forums
Leading the production of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for hydraulic structures
Working independently and managing teams of professionals and technicians
Conducting water resources planning and development of planning documentation
Assisting in water resources permitting efforts
Performing other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in water resources engineering projects
Experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, GEO-RAS, HEC-RAS, storm drain analysis
Local candidates preferred
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience in water resources engineering projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to our employee-owned culture
