Due to MSG’s continued growth, a new opening is available for an
Environmental Scientist / Project Manager
to assist with our environmental site assessment, remediation, and re-use planning projects. This is a full-time position available in our
Maumee, Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincinnati, Ohio
offices. Key Responsibilities
Project management for environmental site assessment, remediation, and re-use planning projects. Technical task management for due diligence assessments, environmental investigations, and remedial feasibility studies. Support design and bid specification development of environmental remediation projects. Data synthesis, evaluation, and technical reporting. Support business development and proposal preparation including preparing detailed scopes of work and cost budgets. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field. At least 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or regulatory work. Expertise in completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM International Standard Practice E1527-21 “Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I ESA Process” Knowledge of Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program (VAP) and Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) rules, regulations, and guidance. Ability to interpret site plans and physical setting maps Strong communication and technical writing skills Benefits
