English Teacher
to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As an English Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students, promoting high standards of literacy, reading and writing. You’ll play a vital role in preparing students for success, nurturing their creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in communication.
Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons across Key Stages. Foster a love for reading and literature while developing students’ writing and communication skills. Create engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners. Track and support the progress of students, ensuring their academic and personal growth. Act as a mentor and role model, promoting enthusiasm and confidence in the subject. Contribute to the broader school community through participation in extracurricular activities and initiatives.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and experience teaching it across various key stages. Passion for language and literature, with the ability to inspire students. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
