The Jim Thorpe Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager Rehab Admissions is responsible for leading and managing all inpatient admissions staff, functions and processes in the referral and admissions of patients and their families to the Jim Thorpe Inpatient Rehabilitation program. Lead and manage all inpatient admissions staff, functions and processes in the referral and admissions of patients and their families to the Jim Thorpe Inpatient Rehabilitation program. Develop processes, policies, workflow and guidelines to ensure timely, effective, efficient and consistent service standards within the Jim Thorpe Inpatient referral/admission system. Conduct pre-admission evaluations, complete required documents, and communicate pertinent clinical information and patient updates to admitting physicians to support admission decisions and regulatory guidelines. Develop department budgets, standards and performance indicators/outcomes. Manage and update referral/admission information systems and implement action plans for continuous process improvement to achieve targeted budgets and performance indicators/outcomes. Ensure all referral sources, patients and family members have the necessary program and admission information and understand admission requirements for participation in inpatient rehabilitation. Oversee PPS functions, coding, and IRF-PAI processes. Budget the department, establish expense controls, and authorize day-to-day expenditures. Monitor and evaluate performance for inpatient admissions and PPS staff; participate in risk management and safety considerations as needed. Qualifications
Current clinical licensure in good standing within Oklahoma as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist. Minimum 3 years of hospital or rehabilitation experience. Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and automobile insurance verification. Effective communication in English (written and verbal). Computer software/hardware proficiency. Job Details
