Assess and evaluate the writing needs of student-athletes and implement accommodations and programs to encourage academic success. Oversee writing center operations, supervise writing tutors, and serve as the liaison between the Academic Enhancement Center and English Department. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Compositions & Rhetoric, Educational Psychology or a comparable program (degree must be conferred on or before the agreed upon start date). Two years of experience in the field of student academic services, writing center experience and/or writing instruction experience. Skills, proficiencies, and/or knowledge: able to sit at a desk for extended periods; able to guide students in the center and assist in computer labs and study sessions; available for night and weekend study sessions. Work Details
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
