Employment Type : Adjunct (part time) Internal Job Category : Adjunct, Part-Time Department : Office of Dean CEMB Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assigned up to nine workload hours per semester. Create syllabus and timeline of classes for students each semester. Provide meeting time for students. Manage online grading system and submit grades in a timely fashion. Abide by all relevant university and/or department procedures and policies. Skilled in the use of computers, Internet resources, and MS Office software. Ability to learn relevant sections of BannerWeb for student grading. Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning. Ability to interact professionally with students, educators, and the public. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Belmont University's programs and services. Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies. Required Education : Master’s degree in appropriate field or bachelor’s degree with significant professional media experience. Preferred Experience : Higher education teaching experience preferred. The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University. Belmont participates in E-Verify, and all hires must verify employment eligibility.
