Join Ro as a
Virtual Physician (1099 Contractor) . Roman Pennsylvania Medical, P.C. (RPM) is a telehealth practice affiliated with Ro, a direct-to-patient healthcare company. Providers help patients seeking care through Ro’s platform for mental health, women’s health, men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare.
RPM’s nationwide network includes board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses licensed to treat patients in all 50 states and Washington, DC.
The Role Ro is currently seeking contract Telemedicine Physicians to join our remote team. We’re looking for physicians who possess that much-sought balance of competence and compassion, and who don’t cut corners when it comes to patient care. Ideally, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are technologically savvy.
Responsibilities
Conduct consultations both synchronously and asynchronously based on state telemedicine regulations
Ideally can commit at least 10 hours per week
Provide care using our custom EMR: evaluating patient records, diagnosing and prescribing medication, and making lifestyle recommendations
Follow best practices and company-specific policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation
Answer patient questions related to their treatment and provide high-quality counseling
Qualifications
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Emergency Medicine Board Certification is accepted if also boarded in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine
At least 11 state licenses, including 3 from California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Illinois, as well as at least one from Arkansas, Missouri, Massachusetts, South Carolina, or North Carolina
2 years of post-residency experience
