South College invites applications for the position of
Adjunct Faculty Member/Tutor for Mathematics
at the Orlando Campus. Under the direction of the Department Chair/Dean of General Education, the Adjunct Mathematics Instructor will provide instruction for General Education Math courses including College Algebra, Statistics, Pre‑Calculus, and Calculus on a quarter‑by‑quarter appointment.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate students’ progress and communicate with Faculty Leads for subject matter questions.
Return graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College Expectations.
Tutors are expected to work with students on campus for 4.5 hours per week during the 10‑week quarter as determined by the Dean of Academic and Student Services/Dean of General Education.
Requirements:
A minimum of a master’s degree in Mathematics (doctorate preferred) or an earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
Experience teaching mathematics in the higher education setting. (Experience in ground and online instruction preferred).
