The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the U.S. Space Force, combatant commands, the intelligence community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, system engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG) is a specialized provider of system engineering and trusted advisory services to the space and national intelligence community. SPA has a future need for a Senior Action Officer. Responsibilities
Work with key stakeholders to understand and track project status, actions, milestones, schedules, and drive policy actions and recommendations. Serve as the primary point of contact for mission support assignment, including cradle‑to‑grave tracking of TIERs (Tracking Information and Enterprise Response) and overseeing the accomplishment of tasks supporting the agency’s mission. Direct a small team within the program to support business functions related to the directorate’s mission and senior leadership responsibilities. Utilize tools for tracking actions, preparing briefings, performing technical reviews, and ensuring the front office is properly informed and prepared for participation in senior‑level meetings. Facilitate MID leadership exchanges between MID and the NRO. Draft and edit executive correspondence. Develop overview briefings, year‑in‑reviews, weekly activity reports, and off‑site agendas. Maintain annual MID governance policy and process(es). Manage MID’s TIER actions to ensure complete action response and on‑time closure. Provide MID protocol support for DVs and others assigned by the NRO, including agendas, briefing slides, visitor requests, and conference room coordination. Develop monthly roadmaps and an annual strategy for senior leadership. Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain TS/SCI and ability to sit and pass a Poly. Intelligence Community experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. At least 4 years’ experience as an action officer. Able to respond quickly and flexibly to a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment. Reports to Chantilly up to full‑time, based upon the needs of the client. Desired Qualifications
NRO experience. Experience managing and improving office operations and procedures in support of the MID directorate. 5 years’ experience in the Westfield customer environment. Master’s degree. Project Management Professional, or DAU certification. ITIL certification. Seniority level
