Their duties include coordinating and managing air traffic control operations, flight plans, and schedules for military aircraft. They are responsible for maintaining detailed records of flight activities, mission reports, and aircraft status, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. These specialists communicate with pilots and aircrew to provide essential information about weather conditions, flight routes, and airfield operations. Additionally, they assist in the planning and execution of air support missions, both in combat and non-combat situations, ensuring all logistical and operational requirements are met.
