ABB’s offerings include automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services. Key Responsibilities
Develop and increase sales of Force Measurement in assigned territories and collaborate with engineering team to develop customized solutions for FM products. Travel 50-70% in the assigned territory for customer visits and presentations; understand customer needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions. Collaborate with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications and ensure financial accuracy. Work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities, and monitor customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities. Qualifications
BS/AS in Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operations. Knowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. A plus would be automation or process control understanding in either the Paper or Metals market. The proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts. A team-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
