Commercial Insurance Associate Broker (Account Executive) – Our Greyling team is hiring an Associate Broker for our ACEC affinity program. The Associate Broker (Account Executive) will perform both brokering and account management duties. This role will be the primary client contact and will actively cultivate, improve and cement positive client relationships using appropriate company resources. The Associate Broker will work with new clients produced by others and will not be expected to develop new business (this is not a sales/production role). The Associate Broker’s main function is to: Support Producers with negotiation and placement of policies (brokering) Manage the renewal process for existing clients Manage the intake and establishment of new clients Responsibilities

What we’re looking for: REQUIRED:

Candidates with commercial property & casualty brokering/placement experience, preferably at least 3+ years. Candidates with strong communication skills who enjoy being a go-to resource, adept at handling unique situations with creative problem solving to find solutions, and who thrive on providing great customer service to internal and external clients. Location: REQUIRED

- This is a HYBRID role; qualified candidates must be able & willing to work 3 days a week in our St. Louis, MO office. What you’ll do: A detailed list of job duties include (but are not limited to): Account Management: Process and follow up on cancellation notices by insurers to ensure accurate and timely resolution Appropriately document customer service transactions and any account updates in the shared database Handle changes in exposure and manage related endorsement and documentation process Forward contract reviews to appropriate resources Issue Auto ID Cards as needed Claims reporting Brokering: Support Broker with negotiation and placement of policies, and providing day-to-day client services Review quotes and negotiate with underwriters over coverage enhancements Produce/assist with client submissions, proposals, presentations, insurance summaries and loss summary reports Assist with program analysis for potential clients Assist with contract review of insurance requirements Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters and key client contacts Coordinate and review billing, invoice materials, and premium finance agreements Assist with policy workflow process to ensure policies are sent out to clients according to agency standards What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in an insurance-related field Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Knowledge of agency management system required Commercial property and casualty experience; 5+ years preferred Licensed property/casualty insurance agent/broker license required Compensation
