Senior Account Executive – Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) Canon USA, a leader in print technology, solutions, and services, is seeking an energetic Senior Account Executive in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on selling Canon’s world‑class hardware and software technology‑based solutions to a dedicated marketplace, helping customers implement solutions that drive the Future of Work.

Location Birmingham, AL – candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance to Birmingham, AL.

Your Impact

Master core capabilities of innovative products and solutions from Canon and third‑party providers, and promote those benefits to current and prospective customers to drive sales results and achieve revenue goals.

Use Salesforce CRM to manage client and prospect accounts.

Contact assigned accounts via calls, customized email campaigns, and social media to develop sales opportunities and establish engagement.

Lead discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations while conducting strategic conversations with business owners, executives, and stakeholders to identify customer needs and industry trends.

Deliver an optimal customer experience by developing strategic plans that address both short‑term and long‑term requirements.

Leverage subject‑matter experts to enrich knowledge and facilitate sales wins.

Develop and nurture high‑level relationships within the customer base to enhance long‑term viability and penetration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred) and at least three years of business‑to‑business sales or customer‑facing experience.

A passion for learning new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry.

A proven track record of persuading others to pursue innovative ideas.

Strong communication skills with an emphasis on building solid working relationships.

Ability to work independently and manage time precisely.

Willingness to travel occasionally within the local market and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $50,000 – $63,160 annually. Incentive compensation varies by quota; at 100% of plan the anticipated incentive is $62,869 annually. Eligible for a transportation allowance.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) savings plan, discretionary profit sharing, educational assistance, vacation, and more. Competitive overall compensation package.

Employment Details Full‑time, hybrid work schedule – report to local office as directed, with option to work from home on other business days except where business needs dictate otherwise. Sales – full‑time, hybrid.
