Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience. Responsibilities
Provide Quality Healthcare Services to patients assigned to the Burn Division in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Provide medical record documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Provide necessary billing information as requested according to department and institutional guidelines. Oversee nursing staff, medical students, and resident physicians during patient interactions. Participate in active surgical research with medical students and resident physicians. Prepare and deliver lectures to medical students and resident physicians. Participate in all department conferences/meetings. Adhere to institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures. Qualifications
MD, DO or MBBS. Completion, or in process of completing a Burn Fellowship. Ability to obtain a TX License. Preferred Qualifications
