We are looking for an
Fire Protection Sales Manager
in the
Columbus, OH
area to join Koorsen Fire and Security. Base pay range is cited as $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. Salary up to $120,000 depending on experience and certifications. Responsibilities
Monitor the sales success and pipeline of each representative to ensure yearly goals are achieved Spend time in the field with reps on appointments 3-4 days a week, observing sales effectiveness Leverage sales tools/technology to uncover opportunities across the service footprint Ensure that all installation to inspection opportunities in Ignite are pursued, quoted, and followed up on Build and maintain strong customer relationships Train new and existing reps on how to be successful Manage time & attendance, paid time off, and payroll Develop the team and serve as a motivator and coach for each member Provide timely performance feedback using company-approved platforms Assist leadership with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and territory alignment Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally Maintain a commitment to continual learning Follow all safety regulations and practices Follow Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the fire protection industry Leadership skills; management experience preferred Ability to sell Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel Dress professionally and maintain a clean vehicle Pass drug and background screenings Valid driver’s license Physical Demands
Must be able to sit for long periods Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises Regularly required to talk or hear; may sit, stand, walk, and use hands as required Hiring Process (in Addition To An Interview)
New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within 3 days of hire; this is required by U.S. authorities to verify identity and right to work All positions require background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, and the Department of Motor Vehicles A urinalysis test for substance abuse may be required if an offer of employment is extended Job Details
