Responsibilities
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals, including telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communications. Maintain existing accounts and develop new business for the hotel.
Respond promptly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers, delivering clear communication that represents Concord Hospitality.
Consistently attain sales activity and individual revenue goals, including proactive and reactive calls, tours and appointments as outlined by Concord and your supervisor.
Prepare and execute strategies to meet/exceed guest satisfaction targets.
Create and implement quarterly hotel key selling objectives, maximize profitability, and analyze market and sales trends to maintain and increase revenue and market share, especially during off‑peak periods.
Participate in trade shows and key sales missions/events locally and nationally to promote new business opportunities and increase hotel sales; develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel.
Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times.
Demonstrate excellent time management, self‑motivation and proactive planning with keen attention to detail.
Effectively and efficiently monitor and manage all aspects of pre‑event, event and post‑event details, including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, group history and reports, cut‑off dates, contract clauses, event orders, BEOs and billing.
Collaborate with partners to forecast group rooms and F & B revenues, and understand strategies that maximize released space and impact hotel revenues.
Gain knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, presentation and event success details such as function space and audio‑visual requirements.
Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process) and understand the hotel’s sales strategies (e.g., Marketing Plan, rates, budgeted goals).
Participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training and other communications required for this position.
Work collaboratively and embody an entrepreneurial spirit to make the best decisions for the hotel and achieve the team’s overall goals.
