Artech, the largest woman-owned staffing company in the United Stated, is seeking a Sales Manager to work in the Morristown, NJ office. The Sales Manager reports to the Managing Director and will lead and grow a successful outside sales team while driving market expansion. The Sales Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team, while leveraging their staffing industry experience to help increase Artech's market share. Primary Responsibilities: Hire, train, ramp, and retain a local outside sales force to pursue technology business in the staffing industry Create and implement sales strategies and specific account plans to drive team productivity Foster a culture of accountability through training, mentoring, and deskside coaching, as well as measurement of team and individual performance via agreed-upon metrics Understand client requirements and partner with the recruiting team to prioritize activity Drive daily and weekly meetings with the sales team using electronic and physical whiteboards for charting client job order activities Expand business relationships with an existing account Exceed goals for new placements, gross profit added, and gross profit run rate Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree (desired, not required) 4+ years of experience in management of sales professionals in staffing Experience as an individual salesperson and/or managing a sales team in the technology staffing industry with demonstrated success in sales defined by specific accomplishments Following a successful sales career in the Technology staffing industry as an "off-book” leader over a team in the Technology staffing industry with demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals Experience selling to direct decision makers Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
