A growing neurology practice with multiple locations in the Frisco and Carrollton areas is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist to join their team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the clinic’s financial health by managing billing, coding, and reimbursement processes. Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic, insurance, and charge information before claim submission. Assign and validate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation. Prepare, submit, and track electronic and paper claims to insurance carriers; post payments, adjustments, and refunds accurately in the billing system. Maintain current knowledge of payer policies, coding guidelines, and neurology-specific procedures (EEG, EMG, Botox, Infusions, Ambulatory EEG, etc.). Generate monthly reports on collections, aging, denials, and AR performance for leadership review. Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve revenue capture. Ensure all billing activities comply with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations. Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce denials. Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of medical billing and coding experience; neurology or specialty practice preferred. Certification in CPC, CPB, AAPC, or AHIMA, preferred Strong knowledge of coding systems Experience with Medicare, commercial payers, and Workers’ Compensation; proficiency in EHR and billing systems.
