Responsibilities
Oversight of SolarEdge Italy local financial activities
Oversee and ensure compliance with local filling requirements (VAT, LIPE, Intrastat, etc)
Oversight of accounting and bookkeeping
Manage General Ledger reconciliations
Review and ensure proper journal entries and classifications in the General Ledger
Review and ensure proper payroll related journal entries and classifications in the books
Ensure appropriate provisions journal entries are recorded in the books
Responsible to close the Italian entity books on a monthly basis and report to HQ
Oversight of the preparation and filing of the legally required tax return and other state related registrations
Review vendor\'s invoices and preparation of payments to vendors
Review of expense reports from employees and ensure their alignment to company\'s policies
Develop and implement accounting procedures in accordance with HQ guidance and practices by analyzing current procedures
Assist and provide accounting and finance support to the local management and departments
Leading the expansion of the local finance team as needed
Protecting the company assets by ensuring the proper registration in the company fixed assets ledger and the company books
Working with HQ finance functions on ad hoc projects
Requirements
Experience in at least 2 technical accounting positions
CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm (advantage)
Knowledge of US GAAP (advantage)
Deep knowledge of ITA GAAP (must)
Detailed-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and team management skills and priority setting skills
Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge working with ERP - advantage
Hand-on approach
Fluent English, both written and spoken
