Our client is currently seeking an Accountant - Materials/LAB/R&D Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP/MENTORSHIP EXPERIENCE MUST HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE DRIVING A CHALLENGE TO RESOLUTION Demonstrated mastery of US GAAP, including experience interpreting and applying technical accounting standards. Strong experience with monthly/quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliation of complex accounts. Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification Experience with Oracle ERP systems or other large-scale financial software. Strong analytical experience using Excel, databases, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Hyperion). Background in cost accounting, inventory management, or plant finance highly desirable. Additional Skills
Outstanding communication skills — able to explain complex financial matters to non-finance stakeholders clearly and effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a self-directed approach to problem-solving and project execution. Passion for continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and financial integrity.
