Senior Accountant
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare daily financial statement and reconciliation Prepare various journal entries including adjustments, interim month accruals, amortization, and depreciation expenses Calculate variable attorney payments based on various compensation agreements Initiate online wires, ACH payments, and bank funding transfers in multiple currencies Reconcile balance sheet accounts; research and resolve discrepancies in following month Manage and reconcile fixed assets, including new asset setup, capital project life cycle, and assist with property tax returns Distribute key spending manager’s monthly and year to date expense reports for budget variances Assist in reporting for year-end close and audit/tax work papers Backup to other accounting department team members and Accounting Manager Ad hoc reporting and analysis projects as assigned Other projects and duties as assigned Skills:
Ability to lead and train supporting staff Highly motivated with strong analytical, computer and oral/written communication skills Detail-oriented; organized; and the ability to maintain confidential information Ability to take initiative, working independently as well as a part of a team Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and requirements Proficient with Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables and look-ups Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA or CPA candidate 1+ years of accounting and or finance experience Seniority level:
