Our client, a growing manufacturer, is seeking a
Cost Accountant (CPA)
with strong manufacturing experience to join their finance team. This role will focus on ensuring accurate inventory accounting, cost of goods sold reporting, and compliance with GAAP standards, while partnering closely with operations to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements; reconcile general ledger accounts
Maintain and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and inventory valuation
Conduct cost accounting and variance analysis across manufacturing operations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness
Strengthen internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
Collaborate with operations to enhance financial reporting
Qualifications
CPA or CPA candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of BOMs, inventory valuation, and cost accounting
ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical and communication abilities
