Overview
The Server Assistant helps provide exceptional dining service to customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner. He or she sets and resets dining room tables to maximize prompt table availability for guests, removes plates, glassware, and silverware when guests have completed their meal, and quickly and efficiently re-sets and re-stocks the table for new guests. The Server Assistant assists in bringing food and drink items to the table and assisting Server with guest requests. General side-work includes polishing silverware and miscellaneous cleaning tasks. The Server Assistant is polite and friendly to guests, wait staff, and management and follows proper sanitation standards while keeping the workstation clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities
Set and reset dining room tables to maximize prompt table availability for guests. Clear plates, glassware, and silverware from tables when guests have finished their meals and re-set/re-stock tables for new guests. Assist in bringing food and drink items to tables and support the Server with guest requests. Perform general side-work such as polishing silverware and completing miscellaneous cleaning tasks. Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests, wait staff, and management; adhere to proper sanitation standards and keep the workstation clean and sanitary at all times. Qualifications
High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED). Previous experience preferred. Good time management skills. Professional dress and behavior are required.
