This is a remote position that may only be hired in North Carolina.
This position supports our Digital Banking & Strategy organization, specifically working with our Wealth, Consumer, and Small Business clients. As a Senior Business Analyst at First Citizens Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering the vision and roadmap for our digital banking products such as mobile and web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet customer needs and align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
Define and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery. Continuously analyze product performance to drive improvements. Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience
Preferred Skills
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a banking or financial services environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors. Experience supporting digital banking space, web and/or mobile. Understanding of User Story creation. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Strong problem solving skills & ability to identify challenges and devise effective solutions. Experience managing and prioritizing product backlog. Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence). User-Centric thinking - understanding user needs and translating them into product requirements.
