The Tax Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial and operational frameworks, focusing on tax and tax codes, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance. This role collaborates with multiple departments to identify risks, recommend improvements, and enforce compliance. The Tax Specialist also focuses on maintaining product sales numbers and designing tax credit utilization methods to optimize tax strategy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities
Monitor and manage corporate tax compliance and regulatory requirements. Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay up to date on current tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to tax guidelines. Identify opportunities for tax savings and develop strategies for tax optimization. Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors as needed. Participate in cross-functional projects related to tax implications and corporate initiatives. Internal Control
Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of control systems. Identify and analyze risks related to financial reporting and operational processes. Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with control requirements. Prepare and present detailed reports on control deficiencies and remediation efforts. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax, auditing, or related fields. Experience with risk assessment and mitigation techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years or more of related experience is preferred. Certified Public Accountant is highly preferred. Bi-lingual (English, Korean) skills. SAP experience is a plus.
